In Victoria, over 100 rescue groups actively engage in various activities, from aiding individuals unable to afford veterinary treatment to assisting those facing economic distress, illness, or homelessness in keeping their beloved companion animals. Some groups focus on senior cats and dogs, as well as animals with disabilities such as amputation, blindness and so the list goes on.
